Beginning January 1, 2007 - All written exams for the National Registry will be
handled by Pearson-Vue testing centers. All National Registry written tests will be scheduled through these computer
based testing centers. There will no longer be any paper / pencil examinations.
Applicants must now go to the National Registry's website: www.nremt.org and create a user name and password. The applicant will then need to complete
an online application. Once your application is completed and reviewed, the National Registry will either send you via
email or by mail information on how to schedule your written test at one of the Pearson-Vue testing sites.
The application fee is now $70.00 to take the written test.
