Baldy View ROP's EMT skills testing meets the U.S. DOT's curriculum and the National Registry's re-certification
requirements for an approved EMT skills testing process.
The EMT skills testing is 4-hours in length on the Saturday afternoon of the second
day of the EMT refresher course. The testing time will be from 1pm-5pm. See the testing dates below:
Cost: $ 50.00
(cash payment is due upon arrival to the class, receipts will be provided)
Registration Requirements:
Students must bring a copy or bring their current EMT card to the first day of class.
Baldy View ROP's EMT skills testing is comprised of the following skills stations:
- Module 1: Patient Examination, trauma patient
- Module 2: Patient Examination, medical patient
- Module 3: Airway Emergencies / Equipment
- Module 4: Breathing Emergencies / Oxygen Administration
- Module 5: Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Module 6: Circulation Emergencies
- Module 7: Neurological Emergencies
- Module 8: Soft Tissue Injuries
- Module 9: Musculoskeletal Injuries (Splinting / Traction Splints)
- Module 10: Obstetrical Emergencies

Course Completion
At the completion of the course the student will receive the following items:
- EMT skills testing continuing education (CE) certificate with 4 hours of CEU
- CA Skills Verification Form

This course has been approved for 4.0 hours of EMT Continuing
Education training by ICEMA (San Bernardino County EMS Agency) in San Bernardino, California. Continuing Education
provider #62-0371. This is INSTRUCTOR BASED continuing education. Continuing
education certificates must be retrained by the EMT for a period of (4) years.
